This concept emerged in June 2001, in a Europe which is relatively quiet, but where the potential for new tensions is ever present. The events of 11th September have re-enforced the urgency of this project, which is not about the destruction of terrorist networks, but about a synthesis of ideas and values which unite different possibilities.

The PHYTOBUNKER project reaches to everyone young and old, simple or educated, atheist or religious, from all countries and cultures, and unfolds itself in many directions: literature, visual art, medicine, philosophy, religion, sociology, science, and more.

In these web pages themes are presented in each area as suggestions of how we can focus on areas of the broad spectrum of peace. Everybody is invited to express other free ideas in the area titled "other".
